Morris County's Deer Management

Schooley's Mountain Park is in Morris County Park Commission's 2012/2013 White-Tailed Deer Management Program.  Schedules of park and trail closings, maps and more information are available on the Park Commission's website.

The program is being conducted to help reduce and maintain white-tailed deer populations that will allow for the re-establishment of native plant communities within the park system that have been severely damaged by deer overbrowsing.
