Spring Fitness & Exercise Classes

Where: L.V. Senior Center (Rock Spring Park)

Circuit Craze Fitness Class – Total body workout circuit style.  Maximize calorie burn and total body training. Circuits Craze is a fun and fast-paced class designed to get your heart pumping and keeps you engaged. This is done through a series of full body circuits or stations that are a mix of cardio and strength training, no longer than a minute each. Exercises are changed week - to-week to keep the class exciting. This class is great for anyone and everyone, for there are always ways to modify the exercises so everyone can participate. For this class you will need to bring some equipment- 2 medium-weighted dumbbells/weights (5, 6, or 7 lbs. each). Instructor: Karen Leyson

Let’s Move w/Cardio Dance – Upper body strength and core work to increase strength for daily tasks. We will grapevine, samba, sashay and more! The easy-to-follow program allows anyone any age to perform the moves. For this class you will need a set of light dumbbells 3-5lbs and a yoga mat. Instructor: Kim Rainforth

Focused Fitness – This fitness class will focus on a different part of your body each week. The focus will be total body one week, then upper body, core, lower body, stability and strength as well as improving your cardiorespiratory endurance along the way. The focus and workout will change weekly. All you need to join in on the fun is a mat and a set of medium weight dumbbells. Instructor: Karen Leyson

Low Impact Strength & Cardio Interval Training – AWESOME way to strengthen the entire body. We will strengthen and tone our muscles. We will work our cardiorespiratory endurance. All of this will be done in intervals! We will be in motion the entire hour! For this class you will need to bring some equipment-2 medium-weighted dumbbells (5, 6, or 7 lbs. each), and a yoga mat.
