kids4kindness Morris County 4H Club is a community service based club. Their mission is to spread kindness throughout our town, county and the world. 



Rotary Club of Chester and Long Valley

The Rotary Club of Chester and Long Valley is a service club whose members are active in business in the local community. The members are volunteers who work together with Rotary International locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto "Service Above Self."  The business and professional leaders who make up the club take an active role in their communities while greatly enriching their personal and professional lives.  If you are interested in becoming a Rotarian please visit their website at http://www.clubrunner.ca/chesterlongvalley/. Children's Enrichment Program

Founded by parents in 1979, The Children's Enrichment Program is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide recreational services, cultural experiences, emotional, and social support to children with special needs and their families. Our program provides relevant information to parents, caregivers and professionals throughout Washington Township and surrounding communities. Programs are held at various locations throughout the district. Financial assistance is available through scholarships to families in the Township who would not otherwise be able to participate.  For more information, visit www.childrensenrichmentprogram.org

German Valley Rural Cemetery Association

Garden Club of Long Valley

The Garden Club of Long Valley was organized in July of 1970, and is a member of The Garden Club of New Jersey and the National Council of State Garden Clubs. Many of the gardens around town are planted and maintained by the Garden Club. The Garden Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in members' homes or local establishments. Long Valley Trail Association (LVTA)

The Long Valley Trail Association (LVTA) is a community group of riders and horse owners whose primary goal is to establish a network of bridle trails throughout Washington Township. The LVTA works with public agencies, governmental groups and private land owners. The LVTA hosts several events throughout the year. They include:

  • Guided Trail Rides Competitive
  • Trail Rides Educational Riding Clinics
  • A Used Tack Sale

Long Valley Woman's Club

The Long Valley Woman's Club is a service organization that fosters the Civic, Cultural, Charitable, and Educational interests and needs of the community. The Organization formed in 1987 and has offered women the opportunity to share common experiences and interests while helping their community. In 1989 the Long Valley Woman's Club became affiliated with the New Jersey State Federation of Woman's Clubs (NJSFWC) 

The club's fund raising efforts contribute to the support of a variety of Long Valley's, and the region's non-profit, community service institutions. These organizations include local Fire Departments, Rescue Squad, and PBA Local 301, the Seeing Eye Dogs, the NJ Battered Woman’s Shelter, the Safe Homes program, Foster Care Program to name a few. Musconetcong Watershed Association (MWA)

The Musconetcong Watershed Association (MWA) is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1992 to protect and enhance the Musconetcong River and it's related resources. MWA members are part of a network of individuals, families and organizations that care about the Musconetcong River and its watershed. 

The Musconetcong Watershed Association's primary mission is education and awareness. The Musconetcong River drains a 158 square mile watershed area within the New Jersey Highlands Region. For its entire length the Musconetcong River forms the boundary between Morris and Sussex Counties, and between Hunterdon and Warren Counties. The Musconetcong River begins at Lake Hopatcong - New Jersey's largest lake -- and flows 42 miles to the Delaware River at Rieglesville.

The MOMS Club is a support group all Moms who are interested in the community and desire a variety of activities for Moms and their children. The MOMS Club is for all moms providing support from pregnancy through college. The MOMS Club is the only non-profit international support group just for today's mother! A group that understands and supports your choice of mothering either stay-at-home or for the working mom and is a wonderful way for you to meet other moms and a fun way for your child to meet other children 

The MOMS Club provides monthly meetings with speakers, discussions and fun programs, Casual get-togethers in parks and members' homes, outings for mothers and children, family parties throughout the year, playgroups for children of all ages. Activities for the mothers such as crafts, exercise, a monthly MOMS night out, and/or other special interests are scheduled. Contact us at [email protected].
