Must possess and maintain a fire inspector, fire official and fire investigator certification from the NJ Division of Fire Safety and have at least 1 year of experience enforcing the Uniform Fire Code. PT ZONING OFFICER – WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, MORRIS COUNTY

Is seeking a part-time Zoning Officer to review all development applications and zoning permits, conduct inspections to determine compliance/noncompliance with Township regulations and administer enforcement actions accordingly, to make Court and/or Land Use Board appearances and provide testimony when required, maintain Township zoning files and review final site plans/resolutions for compliance prior to the issuance of building/zoning permits. SDL knowledge preferred.  Previous experience in zoning/construction field, Zoning Official certification and SDL knowledge is preferred.
