Washington Township Police have an online reporting system to help people get assistance with non-emergent matters.Citizens can report criminal mischief, harassment, lost property, property damage, minor thefts, and fraud/credit card theft. The Lieutenants oversee the operation of the various divisions of the Department: Administrative, Patrol Division and Support Services.
The Administrative Lieutenant is staffed by Lt. Mark Niemynski; Lt. Niemynski is responsible for the Departments Accreditation Process, Standardized Operating Procedures, Records Bureau, OPRA Request, NJDARM, Annual Reporting, Municipal Court Liaison, Firearms Background Requests, CJP Coordinator and Building and Grounds of Police Headquarters.

The Patrol Lieutenant is staffed by Lt. Lucas Allen; Lt. Allen is responsible for the Patrol Division, Contractor Scheduling, Oversees Departments Specials and Matrons, and Township Alarms. He is the Department Training Officer, and the Liaison for the Washington Township Fire Companies and Long Valley First Aid Squad.

Support Services Lieutenant
The Support Services Lieutenant is staffed by Lt. Chris Bratus. Lt. Bratus is responsible for the Detective Bureau, School Resource Officers, Traffic, MCREDS, RDT, Community Policing, Emergency Services, Uniform Crime Reporting, and special event planning. He is the School District Liaison, Active Shooter / Tactical Instructor, and Internal Affairs Officer.
