Maintaining joint health is essential for mobility and overall well-being. Here are some simple tips to help protect your joints:

Try Low-Impact Exercises

Engage in activities like walking, swimming, or cycling that are gentle on your joints while still providing cardiovascular benefits.

Discover your strength

Use your strongest joints and muscles to your advantage. To protect finger and wrist joints, push open heavy doors with the side of the arm or shoulder.

Adopt an Anti-Inflammatory Diet:

Incorporate foods rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids, such as fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, and fish to reduce inflammation.

Keep moving

Avoid holding one position for too long. When working at a desk, for example, get up and stretch every 15 minutes. Do the same while sitting at home reading or watching television.

Talk to Your Doctor

If you are experiencing joint pain, your health care provider can offer some information about how you can deal with the pain—with or without medication.
