BE AWARE! Cancer Awareness and Prevention
The Washington Township Health Department would like to make area residents aware that NJCEED (NJ Cancer Education and Early Detection) is offering several opportunities for cancer awareness / prevention during the month of March.
Free transportation is available to cancer screening appointments for individuals without health insurance who meet age and income guidelines. There are also in-person and web based programs being offered regarding a variety of health issues including: breast health; prevention and screening for HPV, Colorectal and Prostate cancers; sun safety; and diet and exercise for cancer prevention.
